This is a trailer for a thriller film called 23. from this trailer i can see it use linear storyline as it shows a beggining with his fanily at home all happy. then it shows the middle were the antagonist in spirt in evil and motivation in shadows. And the end stays a cliff hanger unless the audience watches it. this makes the film trailer also use enigma codes to keep the audience interested and action codes for them to think on what happens in the storyline. The film uses omniscient narration as we see more than one character in the film. Codes and conventions used to show this is a thriller film are the setting in the trailer were by the setting used are in the city wereby it very closed to home and is in normality as it show a hard working man provide for his family which turn psychotic. This seems very close to home as it sometimes happens in everyday life. The lighting used in the trailer shows it was very gloomy and dim and in some shots it was raining and thundering happens this will suggest danger and suspense. The sound are non diegetic as they used sound effects and increasing tempos.
